Why do I support the Health Care System and the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program?
I’m a heart attack survivor that has initially spent 44 days in hospital; three and a half weeks sedated. I have six stents and have had numerous cardiac related procedures. I started volunteering with the Rehab Program since 28 September 2011 and am presently assisting with a Centenary Monday morning class and a Pickering Wednesday morning class. I am aware of where the moneys have been spent from previous Walk with Heart fundraisers and support the spending. I walk seven days a week and average 13,000 steps daily. I am inspired by all the patients I meet at the Rehab classes. Please help support this fundraiser for all of us cardiac patients.
