On Saturday, September 29th I am participating in Canadian Tire Brave T.O. – an obstacle course based on the challenges faced by first responders in their everyday jobs. I am seeking your support – don’t worry you don’t have to run!
I have set a goal to raise $500 in sponsorships before the race and would greatly appreciate any contribution possible. All donations go towards the Scarborough and Rouge Hospital Foundation and are tax deductible.
I am specifically raising money for the Women's and Children's Health Department at the hospital. After having my son Arran at the hospital I am grateful to all of the nurses and doctors for all of their support and want to contribute to their goal to raise money for "sleeper chairs" which are so critical to the patient experience when giving birth at the hospital.
You may not know this, but Ontario hospitals are required to raise 100% of funds for the purchase of new equipment and 10% of all capital projects. I’m doing my part to ensure that my community hospital can continue to provide the best healthcare possible for a diverse and unique community with crucial equipment upgrades. Please help support me in my fundraising efforts.
Whatever you can give will help - it all adds up!
